Butterfly & beneficial bug attracting Plants

20161103_170450A good garden begins with rich healthy soil to produce strong nutritious plants. A flourishing garden is full of biodiversity and in balance. Using broad spectrum chemical sprays will quickly throw off the natural balance and lower the amount of visiting insect friends. Flowering plants will attract pollinators to your garden to ensure bountiful crops. Predator bugs which keep the pest insects in check can also be encouraged to thrive in your garden this way.

 Fruit Trees

peachesWe stock a wide range of fruit and nut tree varieties suited to our South East Queensland subtropical climate. Our stock includes citrus, stone fruit, tropical fruits, berries and some uncommon types you may have never tried before.

Due to government regulations we don’t sell banana plants. You can purchase tissue cultured bananas from http://backyardbananas.com.au/

Veggies & Culinary Herbs

Let go of the struggle to keep your edible garden alive. Our herbs and veggies have the best chance to thrive. Grown locally in an organic medium from organic and/or open pollinated seeds and cuttings, they’re strengthened in the sun and ready to GROW. We only stock varieties which will do well in our subtropical climate and we will give you the best advice about where to plant and how to maintain your new babies.

  Edible Water Plants

Ponds and water gardens are a great way to create a cool microclimate and attract natural pest predators, like frogs, to your garden. We stock a range of water plants to help you create frog habitat. Our extensive variety of  edible water plants will add exotic flavours to your dishes.
