Jobs at Northey Street City Farm

We have a small staff of part-time workers and occasionally opportunities come up to join our team.

Northey Street City Farm promotes work that is joyful, creative and meaningful, that contributes to healing the planet, strengthening community and fostering co-operative rather than hierarchical relationships. Working at the Farm gives you the opportunity to contribute to creating a more sustainable world, assist with local food production, and build community awareness.

We advertise most positions on Ethical Jobs or our FACEBOOK PAGE and also place adverts on the noticeboards around the Farm.

Please address each of the selection criteria individually when applying for jobs at the Farm as we score applications against the selection criteria when shortlisting.

Please note: most of our farming/harvesting work is done by volunteers. We’re a small 2.5ha community farm in the city, and we don’t hire seasonal workers.
