The Green Team Experience: A 3-hour experience with a tour and hands-on activities

Note that times can be adjusted.

9:00 – 10:30am Welcome, Acknowledgement of Country, Interactive tour of the farm

10:30 – 10:50am Morning tea break

10:50 – 12:00 Volunteering session – 1 or 2 activities can be chosen from composting / propagation / planting / harvesting / garden maintenance / bush regeneration

Earthwise Team Day: A 6-hour experience with more hands-on activities and deeper learning

9:00 – 10:30am Welcome, Acknowledgement of Country, Interactive tour of the farm

10:30 – 11:00am Morning tea

11.00 – 11:30am Workshop session (composting / propagation / planting / harvesting / preserving / garden maintenance / bush regeneration)

11:30am – 12:30pm Volunteering session

12:30 – 1:15pm Lunch

1:15 – 2:45pm Volunteering session (alternative for a second workshop session to start with, followed by volunteering)

2:45 – 3:00pm Wrap up.

Pricing (GST inclusive)

The Green Team Experience (3 hours):

Weekdays (Tuesday – Friday): $65 per person, with a $325 minimum (without food);

Saturdays: $80 per person, with a $400 minimum (without food)

Earthwise Team Day (6 hours):

Weekdays (Tuesday – Friday): $130 per person, with a $650 minimum (without food);

Saturdays: $160 per person, with a $800 minimum (without food)

Add morning tea: +$18pp

Add lunch: +$32 pp

25% non-refundable deposit required to secure your place. The remainder of the payment is due within 14 days after your visit.

In the case of bad weather, we are able to reschedule your visit.

What to bring and wear

Wear comfortable, closed-in shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Be prepared for the weather with a sun hat and wet weather gear. Bring a water bottle, and gardening gloves if you wish (alternatively we can supply gloves).
