Brisbane’s only Organic Farmers’ Market

Shopping at the Market guarantees:

* your money is going directly to an organic farmer or small ethical business.
* that the Farm can offer broader permaculture education.
* you receive the freshest produce in Brisbane.

Certified Organic fresh local produce including:

Fruit and Vegetables
Freshly baked breads, pastries and donuts

Raw and organic goodies
Pulses and grains

Stalls also include a range of ethically produced clothing, gifts and homewares.

Conditions of entry to comply with COVID-19 Government Regulations: 

Please do not enter if:

  • You are unwell
  • You have COVID-19 symptoms  (e.g. cough, fever, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, loss of sense of smell, fatigue, chills, vomiting, diarrhoea, runny nose, or shortness of breath) in the last 72 hours.
  • You have been overseas in the last 14 days
  • You have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case
  • You have been to a declared COVID-19 hotspot in the previous 14 days.

Note: Businesses have the right to refuse service and must insist that anyone with COVID-19 symptoms leaves the premises.

Please make use of the hand wash stations and hand sanitiser dispensers located around the market. Only touch produce that you are going to buy, and cover coughs and sneezes.  

If you become unwell at the market, please leave immediately or seek assistance from market staff (ph 0481 844 568)

Physical distancing of 1.5m must be maintained wherever possible. The market layout has been changed to facilitate physical distancing – please let us know if you have concerns about any areas. 

Please take note of queue line markings where applicable and respect the maximum occupancy requirements of some stalls.  

To assist with physical distancing, please don’t gather in the main market area, but feel free to picnic in the Chai Café or on the Green. A limited amount of seating is provided – please consider others’ needs before using this.  

Many non-food stalls have now returned to the market following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in Queensland, but some regular stallholders remain absent until further notice. Please contact us for specific details.

TIPS TO LIMIT CORONAVIRUS

Clean your hands often. Keep 1.5m away from others. Stay home if you’re unwell. Cover coughs and sneezes. Avoid Touching your face.
Other than essential shopping and exercise #stayhome. Enjoy healthy food choices. Keep hydrated. Stay active. Practice self care. Be kind to others.

When are the Northey Street Markets Open?

Every Sunday from 6am at Northey Street City Farm, Windsor, Brisbane. Most farmer start to leave at 11am, but the City Farm nursery is open until 12.30pm.

What’s on offer for you?

There are a wide variety of organic fruits, veg, microgreens, grains and seeds, herbs and spices, meat, seafood, dairy, bread, milk, cheese, eggs, honey, pantry items, vegan food, ethical gifts, health and well-being services, kids activities, the City Farm Nursery, coffee, tea, juice, green smoothies, kombucha and Chai or Iced Matcha with your scrummy organic breakfast.

How do we get there?

Public Transport is close by with the Windsor Train Station and the RBWH bus station both within walking distance. There are plenty of spaces to lock your pushbike. For parking look for the yellow gates opposite the Farm on Northey Street. Car parks in there will be open until 1pm. There is also on-street parking but it’s time restricted.
