Composting Worms

Red worms and Tiger worms are ideal for processing your household food scraps and green waste and turning it into into worm juice and worm castings. Worms are hermaphrodites and if fed well can double their population in 8 weeks. They are easy care pets and demonstrate perfectly the self sustaining closed loop of soil to food recycling. Worm juice when diluted with water is great to use when transplanting seedlings or plants to help them cope with transplant shock. The worm castings are a wonderful soil improver and fertiliser.

Seeds

Our range of seeds are all untreated, with the majority being certified organic heirloom open pollinated seeds.

Compot Composter

The Compot is a portable compost bin solution for ALL your kitchen waste.

You can move them around your garden or dig them up when you move house.

Urban Composter

Turn your unwanted peels, off-cuts and leftovers into nutrient-rich fertiliser for your garden.

Cut your scraps into small pieces are placed into the Urban Composter including meat and fish, vegetables, fruit, dairy, coffee, and wilted flowers.

Apply Compost Accelerator spray to the scraps to breaks down and ferment the organic waste in the bucket. There are no nasty odours during fermentation.

The juice released during fermentation is saturated in good bacteria and nutrients. Drain and dilute it every few days and add it to your flowers and garden beds.

Drain all liquid and add the pulp to soil which will break down in about six weeks. You can bury it in the garden or a pot, or add it to your worm farm or compost bin.

Honey

While stocks last.

Our farm fresh raw organic honey is harvested regularly during the warmer months. Bring your own jar to fill up from our bulk container. Lovingly made by our own bees (it takes 12 worker bees their entire lives to make 1 teaspoon of honey) and harvested by our volunteers, you can be sure it comes straight from the hive to you.

It is not heat treated or tampered with in any way and is as nutritious as can be. With nectar collected from the Farm gardens the colour and flavour is subtlely different every time we harvest, as the bees are feeding on a changing variety of seasonal flowers.

Native Bee Hive

An empty hive or complete bee hive with 5000 Cabonaria Native Australian STINGLESS Bees. Produce wonderful eco-friendly backyards by supporting the survival of these native bees who do a great job of pollinating the garden.
