At Northey Street City Farm, we’re excited to introduce NSCF Food Cycle – our unique permaculture produce delivery and food scrap pick-up service, tailored for cafes, restaurants, child care centres and other businesses in Brisbane.
Show your commitment to sustainability by sourcing from a local producer right here in the heart of Brisbane.
Providing fresh, local, and sustainable produce: Enjoy a selection of seasonal vegetables, herbs, unique subtropical produce, grown right here in Brisbane using organic practices. Our produce is not only fresh, but also reduces your carbon footprint through low food miles.
Food waste recycling: Our food scrap pick-up service collects organic waste, which we compost at our city farm. By diverting food scraps from landfill, you contribute to a more sustainable and regenerative food cycle.
Place Your Order – Browse our weekly selection of produce and place your order via email.
Enjoy Fresh Deliveries – Receive your weekly order on Tuesday afternoons. Our produce is harvested fresh and delivered promptly to maintain its quality.
Simplify Food Scrap Disposal – Sign up for our food scrap pick-up service. We provide bins and collect organic waste, which we compost at the city farm to nourish our soil and grow our chemical-free produce.
Customers who sign up to our food scrap pick-up service receive a 10% discount on our produce. Note that you can opt for only produce deliveries or only food scrap pick up if you wish; however the minimum order for both or either service is $40.
At present we service suburbs in the inner-north of Brisbane, including Albion, Ashgrove, Bowen Hills, Fortitude Valley, Gordon Park, Grange, Herston, Kelvin Grove, Lutwyche, Newmarket, Newstead, Paddington, Red Hill, Teneriffe, Wilston, and Windsor. Get in touch if you aren’t too far away and your suburb is not listed here.
