An Evening with Joel Salatin
Posted by NSCF on 27 Nov, 2010.
Self-proclaimed “lunatic farmer” Joel Salatin is a masterful speaker whose humour and positive energy guarantee inspiration, action and activism.
This event will cover his entire family farm operation: from pastured poultry, salad bar beef, pigaerator pork, rabbits and forestry products to the marketing approach his family has mastered that makes Polyface Farm the internationally recognised (but strictly local) farm it is today.
With an introduction by Costa of SBS’s Gardening Odyssey!
6pm, Saturday 4th of December 2010
at Northey Street City Farm
Adults: $20
Kids: free
Book online
Complimentary Food Connect nibbles and other fabulous fare from the Chai Cafe can be purchased on the night.

Really looking forward to coming down to see you all on the 4th. I am sure we are just as excited as everyone to have the opportunity to meet “the worlds best farmer”, Joel Salatin. Thanks for all your support NSCF in helping to make this a community event to remember! All the best Kym & Georgie
We’re also really excited because we reckon Robert’s a bit of a lunatic too and he and Joel will get on really well. So glad Food Connect and Northey Street have hooked up for this event! Go well, Emma-Kate Rose
Looking forward to it – so you there! Thanks for organising it.
