Granite Belt Organic Growers

Starting in 2008 from a get together of like-minded producers, Granite Belt Organic Growers (GBOG) is an alliance of certified organic and biodynamic farmers and food processors on the Granite Belt in southern Queensland. Consisting of 5 core members we grow a wide range of vegetables and fruits. As a group we then market our produce
direct to consumers in Brisbane at farmers markets.
We believe that sustainable agriculture is based on family and community farms that use ecological and organic methods. We also feel that distributing and selling produce in a cooperative manner is the best way to ensure that growers get a fair price for what they grow and consumers get a fair price for what they buy. Cooperation helps us build sustainable regional communities.
