Mulch Sale & More Working Bees

Flood-Damaged Mulch For Sale
Attention gardeners: our nursery’s mulch is slightly damp and must sell quickly. We have reduced sugarcane bales to $5 and lucerne to $7. Feel free to bring trucks or trailers. We’ll be open during regular hours of 9-4 Tuesday to Saturday and 6-12 Sunday during our organic markets.

Working Bee Update
After today we will hold at least two more all-day working bees on Thursday and Saturday.  These sessions will concentrate on saving our gardens and restoring access.  If you have any mowers, brushcutters or whippersnappers, please bring them along.  We’re keen to start gardening again!

Thanks for your support!

Monday Flood Update

Flood Working Bees
Just a reminder that we’ll be holding flood clean-up working bees on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week from 8:30am – 4pm.  All are welcome – simply show up whenever you can make it!  While the kitchen remains out of action, Baked Relief will be keeping our hard-working volunteers fed.  Additional drinks and snacks will, however, remain very welcome!

Organic Markets
Huge thanks to Paul, Rob and the many volunteers who made Sunday’s organic market possible, plus the dedicated growers and traders who kept it going. We haven’t missed a Sunday yet!

Keeping in Touch
Our office is currently without power or phone/email access.  We apologise for not being able to respond to messages, and will do our best (time permitting) to answer any questions we can both here and on Facebook.   If a quick reply is required, please email community@nscf.org.au.

Flood Photos
Farm representative Justine was on-site during Wednesday’s high tide and took some fantastic photos of the first day’s flooding.  Visit Northey Street on Facebook to view the full gallery.

Stay tuned for more flood updates!
