As a local resident I have witnessed, from its beginning, the Farm’s growth and blossoming. The Farm demonstrates that urban environments can be good places to live, where food can be grown and all types of people included. Our suburbs can be insular and isolating places but initiatives such as the City Farm enhance our communities and instill a sense of place and belonging. I have volunteered on the Farm’s chook roster for a few years. Saturday’s are my day at the Farm and I enjoy a chat.
We hope to meet you in person at Farm events and meetings throughout the year.
