Cob oven building workshop Saturday 12 June

Book before Thursday afternoon (10 June) as this workshop is off-site and we need to get all the details to you before the day.

Thursday’s Thinking of a Tree Change bus tour is now full.

Build a chicken tractor workshop postponed

Sadly, this Saturday’s chicken tractor workshop has had to be postponed. If you’d like to register your interest with us, please contact us. When we get enough people, we can look at finding a new date for the workshop.

Market Updates: Free New Activities & Low-Carbon Diet Program

As part of Brisbane City Council’s Active Parks program, we are hosting a wide range of free activities every Sunday during our Organic Markets, including:

  • Lantern Making (9am–12 noon, near the stage)
  • Poi & Fire-Stick Making (9 am–12 noon, blackboard area)
  • Composting Demos & Information (8 am – 10:30am at NSCF Info stall)
  • Bellydancing Performances (for several Sundays on the stage)

The farm is also also offering its friendsand members a special opportunity to participate in an easy program to reduce their carbon footprint at home, at work, and at the farm.  With this information, your household can reduce its carbon output by up to two tonnes a year.

Sunday Organic Markets – Bigger and Better

Our Sunday Organic Markets just keeps growing! Stop by on Sunday morning and enjoy our new food stalls, new art activities for the kids (plus space to play), and of course, breakfast at our Chai Cafe.

We will also be hosting a series of activities as part of Brisbane’s Active Parks program, from family yoga and planting to Bollywood workouts and African dance.  Come along and try something new this weekend!

The Northey Street Organic Markets run every Sunday morning from 6-10:30am, so come early to ensure the widest variety and best choice of certified organic food!
