Tuesday 9 March to Sunday 14 March 2010
Garden mint (Mentha spp.)
Perennial ground cover also known as common mint, likes moist position in sun or shade. Good in tubs to control creeping roots. Can become invasive in garden beds, but is a useful understory planting for fruit trees. This variety is the “traditional” mint used for making jellies and sauces.
Garden mint now available at Edible Landscapes Nursery for $3.50 (small pots) and $4.50 (large pots).
The Nursery will remain open for business during our Harvest Festival on Saturday March 20. Stay tuned for more details on the edible plants we’ll have on offer!
