The 2010 workshop schedule will be posted on the web site as soon as all dates are confirmed. In the meantime, take a look at our 2009 Workshops to see the huge variety of classes on offer each year.

New Management Committee

Congratulations to the new Management Committee for Northey Street City Farm, elected at today’s Annual General Meeting.

The committee is:

Coordinator: Karen Shapcott
Assistant Coordinator: Llew Strutt
Secretary:
Robert McGuigan
Treasurer: Fabio Buckeridge
Committee Members: Lindsay Cooper, Jo Rickards, Mal Teggins, Jo Pratt, Gary LeClerc.

We also congratulate Dick Copeman, John Morahan and Richard Nielsen on being granted the farm’s first ever Honourary Life Memberships. These three have been with the farm from the very start, and have had a pivotal role in the subsequent 15 years.

Update: To celebrate these life memberships, our resident artist Bob McMahon has created this stunning triubte.

This Saturday: Volunteers’ and Members’ Annual Breakfast and AGM

Volunteers' Breakfast

This Saturday morning (November 14th) we gather at the farm to celebrate and honour the wonderful work of volunteers, staff and members over the past year. We start from 9am, with free pancakes, fruit salad, sausage sizzle, chai/coffee, etc. Families are welcome. No RSVP needed – just turn up!

This also gives us a chance to acknowledge the abundance that has come our way in 2009, with community, infrastructure and food.

This breakfast is followed by our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 11am. All members are welcome.
